Oslo > more photos Oslo, Norway’s capital, is centrally located in the heart of Scandinavia. Bounded by the fjord and forested hills, Oslo was founded ca 1000.  Every year, the Nobel Peace Prize awards « the person who shall have done the most or the best work for brotherhood between nations, for abolition or reduction of standing armies and for arranging and promoting peace processes. » The ceremony takes place in the Nobel Institute (or recently in the Oslo City Hall ).
